Madagascar & Sri Lanka

Getting Here

Flights to this part of the world are not cheap, but they are frequent. Most flights from the United States stop in either Germany or India on their way to this south Asian country. To save money, book your flights as early as possible. Moreover, flying from Colombo, Sri Lanka (CMB) to Antananarivo, Madagascar (TNR) is one of the easier ways of travelling to the island country from South Asia. However, be aware that you will likely need to pay a visa price upon entering Madagascar. 90-day visas are available online, and 30-day visas can be received at the airport. Be prepared to spend around thirty US Dollars to enter.

If you end up going on safari in either of these countries, your tour company can usually arrange transportation from the airport to your accommodations. Additionally, travelling to your safari site is nearly always completed by the company itself.
